Our founder set out as an intrapreneur - convinced that technology could transform how UAE businesses managed their finances. The product was built. The vision was clear. Then the market gave its honest answer: not yet. The customers weren't ready. The timing wasn't right. The application found no traction.
Most people would have called that a failure. We called it the most valuable education we didn't pay tuition for.
Pivoting into the UAE startup ecosystem, the focus shifted from building a product to helping people build their businesses. That's where something unexpected happened - the work of advising, problem-solving, and sitting alongside founders and business owners became the most energising part of every day. Not the technology. The people.
It was inside that ecosystem that the gap became impossible to ignore. UAE businesses - capable, ambitious, well-resourced - were underserved by the consulting market. Either they couldn't access senior expertise at a realistic cost, or they were receiving qualified advice delivered by unqualified hands. The quality wasn't consistent. The commitment wasn't personal. And the value wasn't landing where it was needed most.
That gap is why KAMMS exists.
